Re: Taz Fest pic's
I have been saving this for last, @ Taz Fest the last few years Taz has had demo's and how to's for our Chevy vans. Last year Macsdoghouse from VCVC came up to show how to change a windshield on a early. This year was a bigger project. Taz gave use of this garage and tools and panelmanrd (VCVC & VV Member) worked on a fellow van members van (Jakemedic). In just 8 hours installed disc on the front , installed a 700r4 trans , fix a spring shakel , did a larger gas tank mod (17 gal to 22 gal tank)
Panelmanrd was the pefect man for the job as most of us freely came into the garage on and off all day to see what he was doing and why he was doing it that way. He answered questions all day from all of us. I got to hang out with panelmanrd's and lovely wife all weekend. These are great people.
I also would like to thank Taz & Jill for all of there hard work putting on this event every year. Taz makes this show set up look easy, but I know better from the Baker's show. You never hear about all the vanner's Taz helps every year. He's truly a ambassador for all vanner's

Re: Taz Fest pic's
the other vanner under there with us all day was a vanner
by the name of Ben, not sure of his last name or just where
he is from.
and there was Paul the parts runner did a fine job.
I can`t tell you guys how much fun that was, beer music and
a great vanners van to work on, and more help than you could
ever ask for. We are going to really have to think long and hard
to top that one. Could not have done it with out all the help from
everyone there and of course the use of the great facility with all
those killer tools.

Great pics! Looks like a great time.
Any reason those front disc brake calipers are mounted toward the front of the axle? Just curious. Thanks,Brad

Re: Taz Fest pic's
on the first gen early chevys I put them foward so you wouldn`t have
to modify anything except the hose mount on the frame.
works great.

Re: Taz Fest pic's
We'll be at the Elkorn, WI show next month. I don't know if my van will be ready yet (it's looking doubtful). We'll probably be hanging around the Blue A108 8 door with Mike and Michelle or cooking in the kitchen. Anyways, I'll try to introduce myself next time.
