So you wanted some side door bottoms,,,,,So unless you are coming over to pick up these doors, where do you want me to make the cuts? And you might have to drive to Kentucky or Chicago to get them,,,,,,

Unless those doors are in worse shape than the photo shows it seems a pity to take the sawsall to them, IMHO.

Don, Thank's for remembering the door bottoms. Where did you get these set of doors??? The one with the plate holes looks like a 2nd gen door??(Not that it makes any diff to me) I'll have to go check the panel doors I needed these for, to see how far up to cut them??? Seems like just above the lower hing?? but I will check for sure , and Thank's again.

These are 2nd Gen SportVan doors. But I am working on Tom's request for side/rear door bottoms that are not rusted out. You can probably save some rusted out panel doors by changing out the bottoms. I might have some uglier doors to cut up. I don't plan on saving every door that I see.

Don ,I'll dig the panel doors out of my shed, and get some pics so I can figure out how much of the bottoms I need. If you got any of the bottom door rods you want to get rid of that be cool too. They were gone on these doors ,along with the bottoms of doors. Thank's again Don

OK, we will go with the plan to try and repair rusted panel doors instead of just keep looking for good ones. And I will find you a couple of good bottoms and cut them off window doors which still are available.

So is that what the East Coast calls good condition????? I think a good cut off would be a few inches below the beltline. So what are your plans for these doors, just to build them or use them on one of your vans? I won't be mailing any whole doors out,,,,BUT,,,,,a couple of bottoms could be sitting in Paducah, Kentucky or Chicago when I take my road trip in May. Or maybe we can see how much trouble it would be to mail them to you while you enjoy your 6 months of Winter,,,,,

Savage I have to say you're a better man than me. I wouldn't even think to try to repair those.

I got the doors(along with a van attached) from Taz(for free) his son had found this one along with 2 other that had been setting for many years in a field. It was a animal rescue van. It had like 20 or 30 parking tickets in glove box, which mice had made nest in. When Troy and I were cutting it up(rusted out frane) we found a few live ones As I remember it said "Society of Saint Francis" then under that it said "Respect God's Creatures" I still got full L side skin out in garage.
