Best suggestion I can give is to start grabbing EVERY A-100 picture you can. Even if the thing is a mess, there may be something useful at a later date.
I did searches on Google, and have been grabbing pics from every ad posted here for months. You can see what different colors look like, and even find a White one with a good angle. Print it out and go to town with crayons or markers.

Damit beanses! You started the thread I was going to start!

My A is in the body shop. They're going to want color codes in the not too distant future and I'm sure I'll be like - Ahhhhhh... Embarassed

I have Teal or Aqua seats with white piping. I'm thinking the lower and upper sections a darker metallic Aqua/Teal with the roof and torpedo mid section in a off white with a Aqua tint to it.

Here's the van in all it's teal/white and gray primer glory:

Her's my brown parts van that shows pretty much how the factory paint was laid out:

Anyone on here want to play around with PhotoChop? Smile

If I only knew how to photo chop.,, Then all my projects wont be 8 colors by the time I get to do the body work! I believe the color you are looking for is desert touquroise (mopar). Ill have to look for the paint code. My favroite mom n pop autoparts store closed. ( Where I baught all my PPG paint. They had stacks of color charts.)Don't laugh I saw a light blue metallic Haundai santa fe at dunkin doughnuts and thaught that color would work well on an early. My earlys are painted colipso poly (1990 ford escort green, Looks hidious on an escort but works for the earlys!) My 02 cents. Oh Larry what size exhaust are you running? Looks like 3"! Shocked

Desert Turquoise, cool. I'll check it out.

I wish PhotoShop was around in 1977 when my father bought two new white Dodge B200 work trucks. He also got several models to airbrush and letter. He liked the one with Yellow on top and Blue on the bottom Embarassed Throw in all the different cool lettering once the vans were painted... No

I'm thinking a turquoise a shade darker than the seats.

Ben, the van is in the rehab center, so I don't know what size the actual pipes are, but what you see are just tips Wink

Ok heres some PPG numbers Dodge truck desert turquoise 42687 Dodge motor home turquoise 43269 Dodge truck Bermuda turq. poly 12647 (this color looks like the sante-fe color to me.) Its metallic so im not sure on how a white belly band will look. Silvers or a champagne color might do the trick. The first two colors are what our vans came in.

Bermuda Turquoise is the color Velma is painted. Check out my pics if you want to see what the original two-tone scheme looks like.

Mine has sort of a old tan color that I think would be a good complement, consistent with the vintage period...

There is a mid-50s pontiac Safari wagon that comes to the local cruiz-in that is painted turq. and black. I know how bad that sounds but this thing is sharp and the colors look really good together. I'll post some pics of it Friday if it shows up this week.

that bumper i can only think it came from a 70's80's GM car..

hey, i was helping a friend with an engine, he is throwing 'chevy red orange' paint on that thing... i have seen some nice vans painted red and some orange and some in between, and then i said "well this is another option for the dodge'
my friend knows a guy in cd. Juarez Mexico who can match the color and maybe have him paint my van.. he own a body shop place (not a body chop place) down south... i think this is the direction im going with. another plus is that while looking at some red/orange vans my wife said ''oohh thats cute"

I had a 64 a100 pickup I was going to paint bright red with 73 corvette orange belly stripe and cab with corvette yellow stripes between the red and orange. It never happened, but I like the mirror! Continue on with the rest of it!!
