Re: Would anyone want mirror arms?
You could count me in for a pair. The next thing would be figuring out how to come up with those long studs for the mirror heads or working around them easily.

Re: Would anyone want mirror arms?
Are you still offering the mirror arm? Also, does anyone know where to get mirrors that would fit arms likes these? I am needing to get a set for my truck but would need the entire set up.

Re: Would anyone want mirror arms?
My van has those same mirrors, the arms are good but the bottom of the mirror part is rusted out. I "might" be able to save them, if not ill have to find something else.

Re: Would anyone want mirror arms?
when i went looking for mirror heads i couldn't find anything with the "proper" stud so i took and drilled the arm to take a 3/8 bolt. i cut the head off the bolt and drilled and tapped the end to fit the aftermarket mirror head and cut down and rethreaded the other end to 1/4 and put a stainless acorn nut on the other end. if you didn't know you couldn't guess the way it is but it worked for me. been 10 years and they havent fallen off yet.

Re: Would anyone want mirror arms?
Something like that would probably be the ticket ,seeing as these could be blanks and drilled and tapped to take the available mirror studs or mirror heads of choice.jkr wrote:when i went looking for mirror heads i couldn't find anything with the "proper" stud so i took and drilled the arm to take a 3/8 bolt. i cut the head off the bolt and drilled and tapped the end to fit the aftermarket mirror head and cut down and rethreaded the other end to 1/4 and put a stainless acorn nut on the other end. if you didn't know you couldn't guess the way it is but it worked for me. been 10 years and they havent fallen off yet.

I USED THE MIRRIOR ARMS AND BOUGHT THE SS MIRRIOR HEAD THRU NAPA $14.00 EA I THINK. THEN TOOK APART THE OLD MIRRIOR AND REMOVED THE PIVIOT BALL AND INSTALLED THEM IN TO THE NEW MIRRIOR HEADS. IT WORKED GREAT...

Re: Would anyone want mirror arms?
72-80 D model pickups have similar mirror arms that are easily found in salvageyards. Sometimes CHROME!
