Different Carb. Options
The carb on my 170 didn't run worth a crap, so I started to look around for a replacement. One of the fourms I was looking on somebody off-handedly mentioned that Carter used to make carburators for inline sixies. As I was elbow deep into a Willys Jeep project, I happened to have a Carter YF carburator that Willys used on the jeep. I ploped it on the 170 and it fired right up. If anyone is interested in a carb that they make parts for that's what I used. Solex also makes their version brand new. Kaiser Willys is the place to look for those. kaiserwillys.com

My Autolite is less than perfect for sure. Has anyone done the triple carb manifold on an econoline? What about a weber? Whats the best source for the Holley 1904's?
