Let me start by introducing myself, my name is Ryan, i'm in Boise Idaho, i just recently sold my '60 pontiac and bought a '66 Econo 8 door. I'm super stoked on it!

My question is; I know that drastically lowering these things can be a major project. What i would like to know is, if all i want is to get it down 2 or 3 inches by removing a few leaf springs or possibly de-arching them, is this going to effect anything, aside from just my ride comfort and suspension? Will this create a chain reaction of things i will have to modify/replace?

I have lowered cars before but i am not familiar with uni-bodies. Any guidance, help, suggestions, or advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    -Ryan.
