The old 240 was knockin' real badly, so went ahead and installed a rebuilt 300 and an aluminum radiator that was originally made for a '32 Ford. Cut all the mounting tabs, filler hole & top neck off. Made some brackets, moved the cap & top neck so I could just use a simple 90 degree hose. The thermostat housing is offset 1" btw, found that out the hard way. Perfect for hauling my scoots.... Gonna pull the 3.03 trans tomorrow & install an AOD. The radiator in that photo is the one I got from RadiatorsUS and did not even come close to cooling the 300.
