I just received a pm from Carlos in Quebec tonight, regarding my ambulance questions from a few months back. Well, he deserves our best wishes as he is recovering from a couple strokes he suffered since mid April. He basically has been in the hospital all this time, but is set to return home soon, and back to contributing his special thoughts and ideas to our little community here.

Carlos, you take it easy... thank you for thinking of me, though I am not important, and earlies are not important, compared to your health.

Got another PM from Carlos... is still trying to recover sensation on his left side, vision on left side of each eye... to this point, no more harleys, trucks or vans (though he still hopes).

That sux, Carlos... I cannot even say how I feel about that, except to keep fighting. I think we all were very excited to meet you and be introduced to your fabricating projects and friendship. We hope that your recovery progresses successfully.

    Carlos,

Fight hard on your rehab as it really is good for your recovery. I went thru it with my dad and he made real good progress, but did not continue with it once out of hospital. I know he could of gone much further towards full recovery but was still able to drive a manual shift vehicle. Prayers for you and your family.

It's a slow roa to recovery at times for some strokes. This sounds like it was not a small one.
Carlos keep up the therapy work and you will be able to do some of the things you did before. Just in a different technique.
I have had to learn a few new ways after finding I broke my back. So way I work on stuff has changed.
