Gen II is a twin I beam.
If you have an E100 or 200, a 73-79 F150 axle with disc brakes will work. It is 5 on 5 1/2 like the E200.

Like how much work? That F150 is probably a twin I beam also,,,,,,,does the radius arms and upper coil spring mount without too much modifications? What about the steering knuckle,,,,,,that does not look like it wants to mount up to an Early steering box,,,,,,,,,

Re: Gen 2 Econo axle?
Was looking for an alternative off-the-shelf disc brake set-up, and thought maybe just swap axles with a later model. Seems like a better idea to just go with the D&D set-up. Any other straight-axle late models you could think of? Just like to take a peek and see if it would be too much work. Thanks. Jeff
