i found a 69 sports van, needs motor , no rot, old school button tufted interior, needs paint, new carpets, what do you think its worth??

Kind of a shot without seeing any pictures, but I would say between $500 and a $1000. Just remember you are going to have to rebuild a lot of what you see.
You looked for rot, did you look under the carpet or rubber floor-mat in front of the two front seats? Push on the metal over the door frames, and along the bottoms of the doors too.
The engine is missing, what about the transmission, is the throttle / shift linkage gone too?
Just a few thoughts off the top of my head..

its the stubby, i went over body, drip rails all good. floors good in front, musty old shag in back, interior was show quality in its day, needs new rugs all tufted areas good.its a 6cyl. 3 speed. engine is intact ,runs needs rings, maybe valve job. needs paint also. could probaly get for 3-400. no title, just bill of sale

i'd push the no title status, and get a cheap price, AFTER i had the VIN run. in montana we have what's called a sheriff's sale - you can basically 'sell' the car to yourself and get a new title. maybe there is something like that in your state? i know some states don't even need a title if a vehicle is a certain age.
