Some cool finds in the woods today.... (pic heavy)

While picking a few parts off a 100, I decided to see what was lying around. Not alot salvagable stuff, but cool. (sorry bout the crappy pics///camera phone)

Truly some classic's there, What shape was that dash pad on the Chevy??? Alot of guys are looking for those and it would be a quick way to make a few bucks for your van

How did you stumble onto all that old iron??? I guy could get lost there for hours taking pics to do research on ebay on a rainy day, and then make some extra money from all those parts.

I bet it'd be a real trip in the park to hang that door on the '53? hearse.

I was at a local saturday hangout (the suds, Ineed to post about that someday) anda fella came up told me where an old van was sitting. He went on to tell me that he had hauled hundreds of cars out of there over the years as scrap and gave me the owners info. The things that would really blow you away....I didn't even take pictures of because they were his (property owner) personal treasures. Imagine 30 or so big blocks laying on the dirt floor of an old building...some 427 tri powers, all just collecting dirt. He told me that somewhere he has a brand new set of headlight rings and will give me a call sometime next week when his grandkids aren't arouund and he has time to look.

Sounds like a good guy to stop buy and shoot the breeze with once in awhile and he might come off some of those goodies.
