Re: Cruise Nights
I like the smaller local shows more than the larger commercialized type....but love all the cool cars either way!!!I like the Chevy wagons in the video, trying to convince my mother-in-law to fix up her original Nomad, especially considering it is just sitting in a cush garage. Also is that a Willys Aero-Ace around :48 seconds left???

Re: Cruise Nights
G-man...I believe it is a 55 or 56, but i know it isnt a 57, oh yeah it is a 55, as they had a 56 delivery as well and got rid of it for $1k, wish I had the cash then, but they never said they were selling it anyway until I showed up and it was gone one day.
Donivan....yes that, the top picture, white car, was the car i believe is a Willys Aero-Ace not positive though.Man I love those things.....but have issues with my van now, so dealing with that!!!

That could be a DeSoto,,maybe a Plymouth or Dodge with the Hemi engine. I will have to take a closer look next time......

Re: Cruise Nights
Now that I took a closer look at that picture, that white one looks almost like a Studebaker in the bottom picture, and actually the white car I thought was a Willy's is still a nice rod , and sure wouldnt mind that old school Hemi too!!!
Either way they are all cool cars in my book!!!
Oh yeah where is a good camping spot at the beach in San Diego not too out of the way from the San` Diego Zoo in Balboa Park??My wife and I will be taking our daughter Marlee there on our way back from Arizona probably around the 9th or 10th of Oct., and maybe we can finally meet up in person so I can treat to some burgers(if I dont spend all my money before then) and say thanks, besides behind the computer!!Oh and I wont be driving the
64 either, for 1 I haven't dropped in the 2004r yet, but soon....that and my 86 Dodge B150 van will do the trick as we set it up for camping, saving on hotels along our route wherever we travel!!!I saw San Onofre, San Clemente, ans some others, but maybe some of you locals down that way know of some decent spots , something we can have fun with our daughter, shes only 2 though, but what a kid!!!

Re: Cruise Nights
We will find you some place to stay down here. What route are you taking there and back?

Re: Cruise Nights
Well we usually take 10 back into California from my folks in Surprise,Az(outside Phoenix), and then work our way up the 5 home, but we havent headed down to San Diego before so any suggestions are helpful.I'm thinking of leaving super early Tuesday Oct. 9th, then heading straight to the zoo for the day, or head into a camp site and then next day go to zoo, then head home after having fun there. We have'nt looked at any specific route yet.
