    Barn find! Empty Barn find!

Post by Dantra Mon Apr 12, 2010 7:22 pm

Guy left a note on my window the other day stating that he had one too and to call him. I called thinking that he might be looking for parts or someone to cruize with. Turns out that he had his dads truck in the shed and wanted to sell it since it was beyond repair....way beyond. Was parked in 91 for bad breaks.

Had alot of of usable parts for me, like the seats and visors were near perfect. It also has everything that I'll need to go Automatic someday with a 3.91 to boot. The body is shot, full of putty from the 80s when it was rotted and had been rolled....frame rails are dust from being sunk in the gravel. If there is any small odd thing that anyone needs, let me know, i'm cutting to pieces and saving all that is good.

There won't be anything left when I'm done...most going on shelf. I'll have the seat stuff that charlie needs but the gas pedal, I think I'll hold on to...they seem o be a weakness so I want a spare.

Under the left knee is some kind of add on....4 ways or something

Both sides or just the passenger side? Also...do you need the tubular seat mounts also, like the one pictured?

Pulled it to the chop lot yesterday and the roof damn near blew off while going down the highway and had to stop and secure it, heh...pretty rotted machine. But if there is anything that I can chop off just let me know...like a tail light section or whatever

I would be intersted in your washer bottle and the foot pump for it also. Also if you have a dual horn set up, the horns if they still work. The last thing would be the top of the battery box. I have the bottom but a mechanic that was working on mine lost the top of it.

    Thanks

Looking for a driver's side shock mount, can't remember if I need the front or rear. This is the spot welded brace inside the wheelwell.
Betcha it's rusted out on that one, but if it's good, I'd be interested. I have a parts vehicle, but the entire floor are ais good. Rather save it all for someone than tear out this one part.
