will a straight six 250 fit in a 3rd gen van?

I would say the 71-84 Chevy Vans, all had the 250 as a base engine until they switched to the V6 4.3L in 1985,,,,,,,,

thanks- did those 250s in the 70s and early 80s have the same engine mounts as 1st gen vans?

I think when they moved the engine up to the front, the motor mounts were the same as a V8,,,,,,so the crossmember and brackets would have to be from a 3rd Gen.
