King pins started today. Started with just a little time while Maw maw had my boy. In just a few minutes after getting the wheels off I have a purple finger after a pickle fork and 4 pound sledge mishap. Drats!

Took some more parts for the A to Randy today. Other than that the weather and upholstery prison has me feeling like a jet with a sleepy ATC.

Wally I think you got a little hasty with your cut and pasty:-) You mixed and matched my words a bit. I shipped stuff out but not the nose yet. I still have to cut it off for Gary. Actually he has the nose panel but is missing everything below it and a bumper so Im getting him that stuff. Im making one too but out of a complete side section of an Econo pickup. I ve already got a cherry complete nose too for my own use to make another bar when I get caught up some day way down the road. I ve got a perfect A100 nose too. The plan is to someday create the Vintage Vans Cafe using those 2 and an early Chevy or GMC also. It WILL happen at some point. I plan on hinging them together and making them mobile on wheels to take to the Nats as one big bar. Im still searching for a nice Chevy nose to cut off locally.

Re: What are you up to?
Sorry Tim...I didn't mean it to appear that way! I chatted with Gary last evening, via PM's on Vannin.com, in regards to him building his bar! He is excited with this future project! I really like your plans as well with the "Early" front ends! You really should contact "Matchstick" and let him pop a few molds from the Early Dodge & Chevy front ends! I know these would sell like "Hot Cakes" should they appear as fiberglass, lightweight, making them more "Portable"! IMHO

Re: What are you up to?
I have a small "Honey Doo" item I am working on in the kitchen, for the little Lady. Slide-out shelf under the kitchen counter. Also I have to fabricate the 6 foot connecting beam for the EconoBar project. Once completed...the Towers & "Rotating" connecting beam, will be finished to mimic "Faux Steel" girders, with rivets and all! Lights & sound effects will be installed in the Towers & Beam! Possibly some "Pneumatic" effects as well??? Time will tell, as I am designing this "supplemental" items...as I go along!!! lol

Re: What are you up to?
So what you going to be asking for the boat? I know I have seen what everyone else has said about how much they costs, but love to fish and am going it out of a 16 john boat now. Might be intersted if the price is within what I can afford.

Re: What are you up to?
Forgot to mention. It's a Stratos Pro tournament so it's got a large 37 gal. fuel tank for fishing 3-day tournaments without re-fueling. Of course I only put 10 gal. in and fish for two weekends and has a 7'7" Beam allowing two adults to fish in front or back together without rocking the boat. Has a Evinrude V6 Intruder 150. Both fuel and oil injected.

Re: What are you up to?
Dan,very fair price on you boat.Buddy of mine went the same route your goin.He had a Stratos '92 274 fish/ski,in as good of shape as yours, brought $5K.the one thing he misses is stability of the glass boat as opposed to aluminum.
Don,first pics you had,I thought thats a lot of pieces for the lil Honda ya got.Didn't realize it was a big bike.Turned out good, bud.I was wonderin if you were gonna trek east with fuel as high as it is.It is that time of year for ya.Hopefully,we wont flood again this year and get to see ya.

Re: What are you up to?
finally made it back to garage today. head back on, intake and header on, rad in, and almost done. spent the better part of the day on the fuel pump. new cam has no lobe for fuel pump. had to make a block off plate, and bolt an electric pump in its place. had an extra one on shelf so i made it work but it has a leak and after a couple hours trying to fix it, i decided to just buy another. if all goes well, tomorrow, i put on exhaust, adjust valves, fix a couple wires and connect fuel pump wire to 'switched' power source, bolt in seats and that should be it.
