i have a 63 ford falcon van it has the deluxe trim and the dash extension all the windows of course and some hideous attempts at body work including a spot where someone hacked a huge hole in the nose for reason that are unknown.

here is the first of many questions

exactly how many of these were produced.

just a little backround info i bought this van in 05 for 850 bucks and drove it an hour and a half home it had a 383 small block chevy in it. i had taken it someplace to have the nose fixed because it was wavy beyond my means. while there it was stolen and lost to me until january when i payed 1000 dollars to get it back in the shape you see it above. and no drive train

    Welcome to the site rev.chuck.

Are you parting the van out or looking for parts to install?

Really sucks that you had to pay for it twice and now it's missing the drivetrain.

Welcome to the site!!! For the life of me can't figure out why someone cut a hole there. Any good bodyman should be able to fix that

Alot of today's bodyman are just panel replacers you need to find someone who's old school who works with metal. Yes the front clip can be replaced a few have done it and its alot of work just ask gp70 here. Chances are you would have to find a whole parts van to do this. This is a costly repair

It's way more than that, I see them for sale weekly. Sure they are not as common as all other econolines. Maybe fmc56 or econoUSAparts will see this post and maybe give you better no# for all the years

no they are not reproduced but I know someone that is trying to make them out of aluminum and I am going to try to make one out of polished diamond plate aluminum. I had several at one time and sold them for $50.00-$100.00 except for a carbon fiber one that sold for a lot more.

seems like it would be easy to reproduce out of fiberglass Question mine has all the ridges

there are two different dash skirts. One for vans with a padded glove box and one for the regular glove box. I am looking for one made for a padded glove box. here is the dash I need one for. The one for the paded dash has a piece cut out of it right under the glove box door.

People keep asking for the skirts,, LOL,,,LOL,.,,LOL,,, Like posted before, I bought an NOS one soley to make them, however when my cost is an easy $75 bucks OR MORE,, WHY would I bother to make them for $100??????????
I could spend the same time at the off ramp with a cardboard sign,, and eat better? LOL
    GOD BLESS.
What a drag to get your ride stolen, it looked like a nice one before those jerks got it, should be shot, end of story there. I have a nose here getting ready to put on my 67, which is just about the best way to fix it. Its the normal repair. There was an NOS on Ebay about two months ago, went for pricey, but not really when you think about it. Tim from Kentucky would be the best source for one I would think, or perhaps Fred Carrillo, those two seem to get luckier than parts out here. I see them once in a while, but its a lot of work to get them, sit on them, and hope someone wait for someone to want one, let alone get them to pay for it??? I have a cherry 64 for sale, but its so cherry, I was thinking of taking the nose off of it for my 67??

A friend of mine is doing just that right now. He took my dash skirt to his son who works in fiberglass and its currently being set up to mold and reproduce. No idea what the pricing will be yet but it IS being done as we speak.

Just to clarify, Im not involved in the dash skirt reproduction so its not me doing it or selling or setting whatever price it may be. i just loaned a friend my skirt. He had the fiberglass connection through his sons shop. Its already a very exciting year so far with lots of new products in production for the Econolines. Vic has a new angled oil filter adapter plus other products he sells,Dennis has several new products going, and now my buddy doing the skirts. Word has it another guy is looking into other parts too but Im sworn to secrecy on those right now.
