From what I see I think its a hell of a deal. Looks like it been in a garage for years apart. (thats a good thing beats sitting outside like that) If it all there thats a plus also. We can help you put it back together and if its missing parts I'm sure we can help also. Looks like a 108 wheel base and unlike the econo you were looking at the wheels base matches the body

Looks to be a pretty nice base van. Looks to be a no rust keeper! As long as the body is good the rest is easy.............relatively.

Like what mountainkowboy said what ever you by make sure it doesn't have major rust issues. A little spot here or there is not a big deal and being 40+ years there surely a spot or two.
What motor and trans??? If its a V8 it should be a 283

It is a v8 van
The son is selling it for his dad so he don't know alot about the van he might not have a title for it. I don't know if that will be a problem or not . There is a v8 motor on a stand in the pictures he going to call his dad to get me more info on the van and it's parts . I'll let you know when I find out I would like to have it .This would be a very nice van restored if we can get everything worked out I will be picking it up next weekend it's way up north around 150 miles away.

I thought it was closer, see how this van thing works out. We get a new guy from Michigan and there are 3-4 listings from this state in a week. That doesn't happen offen here.

Welcome! By the way, I have some club brothers, in the DEADBEATS, that live in Warren. One of the guys in the club even owns an Econo pick up. He's not much for being online, though.....

I was looking for a Ford I remember that one and yes looks like a cool project. I think there 2 gullwing doors on this one. Did he say how the rest of the body is??? $2500 seems fair. Remember in all projects there are hidden costs (things you didn't think of) there 2 grand (cheap price just to repaint) Are all the parts there??? Another thing that far away I would haul it back just because anything sitting as a project for a while could have other driving issues

Doing the paint alone will cut your costs alone, and the sounds of whats missing are things aren't a big deal. If you have the time this is a project worth looking at

yeah windshield is easy, Im not seeing a gas tank or fuel fill opening there?? Id have him send as many pics as you can stand to look at. inside rear corners battery box area door pillars, stuff underneath,, the quality of the work thats been done already can be a huge factor.
