has anyone replaced their a100 popout windows with sliding windows. does anyone know of a manufacture/distributor for them. i'm looking for something with a frame that will fit in to replace the popouts.

That does sound like a good idea! I've seen that style on newer conversion vans with the bay windows... cool idea!

i'm thinking i've seen them on the vw bus or campers but i'm not positive need to check pull a part and maybe look at some different makes.

talk to a local glass shop they may have somthing in the commerical line that would work , i would look at waterproof & how secure it is. keep us informed. i like what you are thinking!!!!!

driving down the road today stopped next to a ford aerostar van at the traffic light, they have sliding windows so when rain ever lets up i'll measure mine and go to pull a part and see if they can be adapted they appear to be longer but may be able to cut frame and probably would need the glass cut. if alll that is possible it would be cheaper than having custom made, i think side window at pull a part is about $26. custom made probably several hundred $$.
