Hello,
I've had this forum bookmarked for a few months now and couldnt remember if I had registered on here or not - so while I was reading thru some threads, figured I'd go ahead and get registered and post a pic of our Econoline.
It's acually my wife's Van. Yeah, she's much cooler than me (better looking too). She was sitting around one evening talking about how she could increase marketing exposure for her business without breaking the bank. The local newspapers charge some serious coinage for their limited circulation. I had been looking for a Econoline P/U to use as my tow rig and just remarked off the cuff about her getting a van for advertising - I just happened to have a picture of one pulled up on the computer and she flipped. Needless to say, we tracked one down about 200 miles from our house - made the trip - and drove it home.
I've done nothing to it except stuff that better suited us - ya know, like pulling the cat pee smelling shag carpet out of it - along with one of the mid-80s captain chairs that were mounted by the PO in the back. Added an 8ball shift knob in place of the Skull one - And adding the wife's business logo to both sides and back door. People around town LOVE and will blow their horn and wave. Gonna enter it in the local Christmas parade too.
Pics from the day we brought it home this summer
