It is the annual Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. My club was inducted last year so now we get VIP treatment at all ceremonies. Free dinner and drinks at the induction ceremony and all we can eat and all the beer we can drink during the four day Route 66 Rendezvous car show and cruise.

Well the only people allowed to take pics were the press. It was a great induction and my club got a standing ovation.

That's too bad about the pictures Mike. It seems they invited every inductee from the past. I imagine many of them had previous engagements, who did you get to meet there this year ?

VP of Ford, VP of McDonalds. Joe Montana, Bill the leadslinger Hines and some people from Sema and Hot Rod magazines. I couldn't get close enough to most of the others. I'd say there was maybe 100 people there not counting the press and lots of security. Ed Sanchez from Truckin was there on Saturday and someone from Carcraft was there on Friday along with several television stations and radio stations. Estimated attendance for the four days was 550,000+.
