Hey! I currently own and am thinking about selling the 1966 A100 that was “built” on the old show “Wheeler Dealers”. I bought it directly from them about 7 years ago.
Long story short, now it’s an awesome van and runs and drive mint. It was not the case when it arrived from the show, but i wont get into that right now.
Basically, since i bought the van from them, every single piece was repaired or replaced completely. Literally the only thing technically done on the show that still remains is the seating and upholstery and roof rack.
I’ve had the motor rebuilt, new carb and fuel system including all lines, new tranny, gears, drive shaft, cooling system, entire braking system including master, entire air set up including bags, ecu, lines and mounting brackets, entire electrical system, all wiring, gauges, wheels and tires, upper n lower control arms, charging system, everything is new. And all work was done by hellbent race cars in Islandia, NY with all receipts and records. No expense ever spaired and only top of the line parts were used.
Basically other than the shell with original paint and interior upholstery and roof rack, every other piece of this van is new and done 100% correctly. I’ve also added skateboard decks on all the door panels and made one for a cup holder as well. Also, 2 well known sign painters added some pink panther art on the rear and side doors.
It’s a great van, gets attention, waves and questions everywhere i go and my kids love cruising in it. If anyone is interested in making an offer or have questions or want more specific pics text me 516-848-8421.
