i know it fits well i know bill Carson did buy and install it he had no problems or completes

i hope so . bought one for my 41 chev. from chevys of the 40s . cant get it to fit . bad part , or stupid installer , or both ! shouldnt be rocket science . should it ?

It fits.
But it is cardboard, only.
So, my suggestion: put some epoxy and fiber mat on the outside of the assembled box.
That's what I did to avoid it going south with just some water oder sharp things you throw into the glove box.

Tight fit, buts is as close to nos as it can be. I’m happy with mine.
