    so I am trying to remove a hinge pin from my side door to no avail....I have tried heat and a hinge pin press... any ideas about removal or the best way to remove the "rivits" holing the hinge to the door?

    If you are trying to remove the hinge pin, they aint in no mood to move out,,,,,the pin is serrated right under the head, so that is going to take some heat to loosen it up,,,,a heat gun, propane or mapp gas torch wont get it RED HOT for something like a Ball Joint/U joint  remover to push the pin up at least a 1/4" to release it,,,,,,probably need an acetylene torch to get it hot enough.Is this what you got, are the hinges off?

    used heat and a hinge pin press.....no movement. soaking in pb blaster to try again. the econoline hinge does not unbolt from the door so its different than your g series. the door had to come off to do it on the bench.

    You got a picture of the hinge pin press you are using? You heating both ends of the hinge until they are GLOWING RED ?
