Just as the title states, has anyone put AC in their A100 pickup? It was 108 degrees here today and I can’t imagine driving my truck without AC. I’m considering after market, such as Vintage Air. Anybody done this yet?

    Doc,
Yes, fullscalehotrods@yahoo.com has. It is in Ventura, CA. The web site is www.fullscalehotrods.com . The owner is Troy Martin. In his A-100 pickup, he replaced the heater with an after-market combo heater/air conditioner. He knows Mopars and A-100's and does good work but is not cheap.

I know, not close to you either.

I hope it is ok to mention a business here on VV.
    Richard

I put this Vintage Air under dash heat/ac unit in my '60 F100.  I bought another unit for my A100 build.  Nice self contained unit, easy install, and will freeze the cab very quickly - works great.
