Local V8 Econopup Connection

Hello All,

I am looking for a Phoenix preferably Econopup connection who has done or presently owns a V8 swapped pu. The purpose is to ask questions and hopefully view their completed and running project.

I would have sent this request via state/city but the member list isn't broken down as such.

The "gurus" I have spoken with are very helpful/insightful, yet having more time to ask questions and actually viewing someone's vehicle in person would be great.

Any help is awesome....

FYI, putting a V8 in a 1965-1967 Econoline is different from putting it in a 1961-1964. See if you can find someone who has done the conversion in the same year range.

Putting a V8 in a pickup should be the same as a van, so don't limit yourself too much.

I have seen good V8 swaps and some bad swaps. Be sure to look at lots of variations.

Vic (Old Skool) has posted lots of pictures on this forum of great swaps. He makes and sells the engine and transmission cross members that you will need to do the swap.
