This looks to be a 200, is set up for propane through.

This guy is swapping a V8 in for his 200, Might still have the 200.

Keep an eye on your local yards for anything that might have a 200, fairmonts, mavericks, granadas, etc.

Thanks for the help guys. I've been trying Craigslist for months but they're always sold when I find one.

I got a couple of cores here in Jackson Tennessee. A 65 mustang and a 66 Falcon. They both need a total rebuild. $100.00 each.

I've found a 250 out of a 74 maverick. Haven't bought it yet. I was wondering how much difference would be in the swap? I know the 200 is a pretty easy one. Would love to hear some feedback. Thanks everyone

The 250 requires a small block bell/trans. It also has a taller deck,so it won't fit under the smaller doghouse. I'd keep looking for a 200.

Unless you have need or desire for a modern transmission it's not worth the effort in a pre 65. The good news is there are alot more 200's out there than 250's, you will find one soon
