Shop Manual vs Manual Supplement Empty Shop Manual vs Manual Supplement

I'm no mechanic, more of a parts changer so I like having a repair manual to follow.

I periodically look for a Manual for my 62 Falcon, and actually pounced on a book, only to find it was 12 pages long and the Supplement TO THE manual, not the manual itself... are there actual 'manuals' because all i see when I search are the Supplement.

Does anyone have an extra one? Is there a PDF online somewhere?

    Thanks!

What you need is the 61 manual. The supplement you have covers the changes for each model year.

In case anyone else is tuning in here...

Ford printed a complete manual in 1961.

Ford printed a supplement in 1962, then printed a combined 1962/1963 supplement in 1963, then another supplement in 1964. Thus if you have a 1961-1964 Econoline, you have to get the 1961 manual for the basic stuff.

Ford created complete manuals for 1965, 1966 and 1967.

I have a 65 econoline manual, but I have a 65 falcon econoline, same. When I saw it I jump on it, lol, was at the goodguy car show $20 8 years ago.

You can buy PDF versions on eBay. I bought one for my 67', will now pick up a 61' for my 63' pickup. I have the 62'-63' supplemental book. I prefer the PDF, then I can just print out what I'm working on and don't care how dirty it gets or what happens to it.
