proper name for this setup is "crossram". they are scarce and pricey but I think 3k is pushing it. came on several engines and vehicles back in the 60's. here's one on an old dodge..........
they even came on dodge 1/2 ton trucks back then. if you ever see an old 61-65 or so truck look on the inner fenders and you will see the recess for the carbs on the inner fenders.
