    So glad to find VV.

New owner, just purchased "Wilbur" January 01, 2015.  Runs and Drives but looking to break her down soon starting with fuel systems and brakes, wheels and tires, working my way through the engine and then to the interior.

Van has 36000 original miles, and is in great shape, needs a paint job and some interior refreshing.  Van was a "church bus" and i believe I am the 3rd owner.

The condition of the lower sheetmetal on that bus is unbelievable. Seems like no rust anywhere. Congrats on a great find.

Thank You so much everyone. I have been looking for a "69" Dodge for a while, started at muscle cars (too expensive for a decent one) then to W-100 short box, and had trouble finding one. Typed in "69 dodge a100" by accident on Craigslist and this popped up. I said to myself, man is that ugly, then the more I looked at it it hough, How very cool and unique." The rest is history. Its a good cult van for Portland, Oregon ;-)

My family is avid kayakers, and the boats will fit in the van without a problem, so it will be a Kayak hauler...

looks like you went with the streetrod headers, did they clear the starter ?? or did you use a gear reduction starter , the van is coming along great. did you do any thing with the voltage regulator??? the old factory one burnt down a lot of these vans ?? you can find a electronic one for about $14.00 this is a must, let me know if we can help..

Oh Yeah, for sure. We are doing all steel fuel lines. we did that just to get it started and tune. the final version will be steel ;-)

Thank you for the suggestion, there may be something else i overlooked and good to catch it now
