    Hi All,

Here are some pics of the old floor in the Mercury.
After removing the cabinets/benches do I just pry/scrape it up?
Looks like there will be a lot of gummy black material under it. Do I remove this, or if fairly consistent lay the vinyl plank over it? Thanks.

If you heat it up that helps. Just a heads up the tile is most likely and the black mastic is Asbestos so dont grind, sand, etc to make it friable and airborn.

i'd pull all the subflooring out also. that way you can start fresh and inspect the steel floor before you cover it back up again.

Pulled bench seat/bed cabinets out. Will determine how well the propane heater and burners work to make decision on that cabinets future. Some of the tiles came up real easy when removing cabinets. Subfloor will be removed as well.

The paneling needs to be replaced. very brittle where cabinets were.

    Sorry for poor quality pictures.
