I've been using Marvel Mystery Oil ever since my dad told me about it, when I was just getting into cars. But I've never heard of this contraption! I usually just put it in my oil once in a while, especially on high-mileage engines. Can quiet noisy lifters. I know they say you can add it to your gas too. (How could one additive be good in both the gas and the oil?! I guess that's where the mystery comes in!) So this must have been their way of ensuring you're always using their product.
I couldn't picture how this thing worked so I did some research. It screws onto a bottle that holds the oil. Mount it anywhere and just run a vacuum line to it. The vacuum draws a few drops of the oil into the intake manifold, varying based on the speed of the engine. Very simple design.
These are a sought-after item for old hot rods.

always used this stuff in gas tanks when storing for winter. motorcycles the inside of the gas tanks wont rust and stay like new
