Hi gang. I am really glad to find this site. Tons of good info here. I have an extended version of the falcon van. My father was friends with Ed Roth back in the 60's and 70"s and Ed did a lot of art work on his van (same model same year) back in the day.
Well, I own a restoration shop and we specialize in european cars so my knowledge of domestics is not as great. I was lucky enough to buy this van and we are going to build this as a tribute.... to a degree, to the van my father had. We are going to build this quick! I want this, and one of my employees ford econo trucks at Viva las Vegas this spring. We start wrenching on this, this week. I need to know if 15X8's cragars (with 4-1/2 inch back spacing) will fit under the rear, or do I need to mod the tire tub? The plan is to run either 15X8's smoothies or cragars in the rear and 15X5's up front. Any idea's?

I will absolutely post photos. I have owned ..... 200 plus cars over the years from shelby's to 21 window VW buses. This is the second or third most geeked I have been about a build ever. Why... I could not tell you, but I am completely inspired to make this a fun daily driver.

You know the dodge has some many styling cues to work with. When I do another, (and I will) I would really like it to be the dodge truck. I think it has tons of 60's space race feel to it. Which one do you wish you still had?

The one that I have now, 1967 Custom Sportsman. It has the most potential, the other 2 were delivery vans.
