    how do you fix roof braces that have been damaged/bent/creased, probably by excess weight on the roof, causing a cave-in? they have separated from the inside of the roof but are still attached to the walls of the van.

    Post in "G Parts Wanted" to get you a couple out of a parts van once they are creased they have lost there strength.. I have a couple of spares for mine they are not hard to remove and either tack weld them in or screw them on..and use seam sealer to hold them to the roof skin....Since you have a Chevy/GMC you can post questions in "G Van General Discussion" instead..
