Had a good laugh today

Well it hit 60 today so i thought i would get the van out of the garage and take it for a spin around the block before tearing the brakes apart...

i turned around in a parking lot to a company behind my neighborhood..

as i did i noticed a fenced in yard .. and all these kids prob ages from 10 to 15 running over to the fence pointing my way and yelling and jumping arround. ..you would think they were watching aliens landing.
i had to laugh ... I'm sure they had never seen a old flat nose Dodge van before...

i do believe it's going to be a fun summer ...i can't wait...

I had sort of the same reaction today as I was following my nephew towing #3 home and a couple in their early 20's pointing and taking pictures out the window of their escalade with their cell phone.

I could treat an Early pretty good for the price of an Escalade!

Took my van out for it's second drive of '09. It great to cruise around the streets and get the looks. You can just watch peoples heads turn as you go by. I hope today is also a good sign of a great spring, summer, and fall cruising season.

I can't wait for a cruise, still foot and a half of snow here, you guys in the south are very lucky, enjoy!!!!!

To kids that age today, a van like this might as well be from Mars. Their entire frame of reference as far as vehicles go, is late model SUV's, Hondas and oversized new trucks.

Pull up beside people in a gasser style A100 pickup, and watch the blank stares and jaws drop....
