Does Dodge use a spacer Plate between the engine & Trans? This will be a 360 with A727, bought the engine and trans separately so there was no spacer if there ever was.

Re: Engine to Trans Spacer Plate
as long as your 727 is a small block bolt pattern your good. the spacer plate was used in most /6's to relocate the starter as they used a v-8 transmission. just make sure you use an externally balanced torque converter with your 360. there was only 2 years (I believe) the engines 360 were balanced differently. check with a machine shop to be sure.

Thanks. Did verify that the engine is externally balanced. The man the Trans was bought from had it in a early Charger with a 360.

Re: Engine to Trans Spacer Plate
it should have a long tailshaft on it if it is indeed from an early charger. might be tight for room if you have an a-100 and not a 108. so right on the face of the torque you will see a weight welded on about 2" long and 3/4" wide along with 4 tabs for bolts to flexplate. good luck...........

Have A108 van, flex plate will have to be bought along with a torque converter, did not get those.
