Hi my name is Bob and i'm new to the forum. I'm currently awaiting delivery of my 66 Econoline pickup from Long Beach Cali and it should be here in about 12 hours. This forum was pointed out to me by the previous owner and i'm learning all kinds of good info here. Not sure what direction I'm headed with the truck but I'll probably just take some time to assess it first. I know one of the first things I want to do to it is the disc brake conversion. It's a Heavy Duty with the bigger brakes but I think it still needs to be upgraded. I'm looking forward to getting this project started!

welcome to vintage vans, the ford gang will steer you in the right direction, and the upgrade is well worth doing.

Nice pickup! Must have been a loooong 12 hours, I assume that was the last 12 of many. Glad to see it arrived safe and sound.

Now you've got two girls that are keepers!!! Congrats on the solid looking EPup and the nice spacious garage to work on her! I suspect there are a LOT of us out here who would love to have a space like that to work on our projects!

Yes they are both keepers. It's hard to find a woman with her head on straight that likes to do things like this around anymore. When I work on it she wants to be right there learning how to do whatever which is totally cool with me! You should see her on HER Harley in leathers!

[ You should see her on HER Harley in leathers![/quote]....Well!!! OK.. if we must. Just kidding with you...That stuff is for a DIFFERENT site, unless she is standing next to the truck...lol. Glad to see it has good breaks, as even I was nervous watching you hang on the back of that ramp waiting.

I let the truckers do that part but a few times there they almost ran it off the ramp.
