[/img]Ifigured this is a good time to start a van timeline. This is the 65 i snagged for $5oo from the second owner.The p.o. was a carpet layer.
[/img]My firs tep was removeing the rust from the floor and patching the holes in it.
[/img]I used a notted wire wheel on a grinder to remove the paint and rust.It also worked well on removeing all the glue that held the carpet on the front wheel wells. 
[/img]The color on the dog house lid is what i sprayed on the dog house,floor and wheel wells.
[/img]While the enginecover was off i painted the engine and added chrome calve covers.Its a 350 c.i. paired to a hydraglide useing the original shift lever. 
[/img]The original floormat was almost all gone so i made this one out of 2 floormats. Needs to be cleand but it works.
[/img]The original gage cluster and a bunch of the dash was cut out with a torch by the p.o. and a wood dash installed.Iwill be replaceing it but not sure yet wich direction ill go.Im undecided between some nice redoak, wethered barnboard. or a piece of trim from a sawlog with the bark on the top and bottom.

[/img]The throttle cable was cobbled together with several cable stops and u bolts.I odered a lokar 108 inch universal cable from summit.Heres the old and new cables.Froze my fingers but got it installed today.

[/img]Sinse i have my heater core out i striped and repainted the blower box.
