I want to replace the chrome latches on my A100 Sportsman windows. How do I instll the rivets on the latches, is there a special tool and where do I get the rivets?

Someone else would need to confirm. You might be able to use a pop-rivets????

cheap and easy IF it's a viable solution.

Pretty sure they are the same as the Fords. The roll pin should come in the box with the new latch assy. Put the pin in and use a small fat punch to peen the end over evenly. It's simple to do. Use common sense and don't beat on it with the window installed in the van. Use an anvil or something to back it up while tapping on the pin.

The NOS latches have no "roll pins", what do they look like and where would I purchase some?

They look like little hollow tubes with a head on one end. Fords come in the box with them. Look at your old latch pin, same thing. In a pinch a small screw and nut will do temporarily.

Yep that is a roll pin but the ones Ford and probably Mopar used would have a head on one end. They may use a different term for it, who knows.
