    Is the warranty # the same as the VIN ? The van I am picking up tomorrow is a 67 and I have to find the VIN for the bill of sale . Thanks

    Yes. The number on your door tag is the same as the VIN. The actual vin can be found stamped on the trans hump on vans and on a rear corner brace on pickups. You may also find it stamped in the lip around the engine opening buy you would need to remove the doghouse and scrape the tar off to find it.

    If you would like I can get the info decoded from your door tag. We can tell you some history of your truck. We keep a registry of Econolines still out there. We have over 4000 on record now. You can either post or PM me all three lines from the data tag and I'll get it decoded.
