If you have the cash soda is better for the fact that it won't warp body panels

soda doesn't heat the panels like sand, but I'm sure soda is more per bag

Within a 3. bucks of each other for 60 grit alum oxide, soda is a 20% blend of alum oxide. Price for 1-3 50lb bags.

Soda for the body, Sand for the under carriage. Walnut shells are great and polishes any surface but not really good for removing paint. Would work really great for removing crud from that Farm All…

Around here sand is like 8$ a bag and from what I have done it works fine anyplace there is a body line or seam to keep things stiff, many layers of paint and I would recommend chemical stripping on the flats, If I am remembering correctly soda blasting gives you more time to get the metal protected because it doesnt raise the surface like sand does and doesnt soda require a slightly different set up for the pot than sand?

Dans right on Walnut shells--I was on a Navy Hydro foil in the 80's.... It was built of aircraft Aluminium.....The ship yard used walnut sheels on the hull in the yards....took off the paint, but actually polished the surface when it came off.

Ill probablyuse soda on the 65....Dont wnat to heat it up any worse than its been cooked already on the passenger side....
