The uploader works like having a very large thumbnail with larger pictures. When you click on the picture the original, all of it, will open up...

The only one that is integrated with this forum. However you can still use other photo hosting sites like photobucket here.

The old one was much simpler to use, One click gets it quick. This new one has too many steps just to get a picture to show up.And then you have to remember to click on it to enlarge it or you will be missing the right side of it.

That was Vanish's idea,,,,,,I got along fine for 35 years without those lights being on, but he kept saying he wanted them to come on with the headlights, so I did mine,,,then I did his,,,,,,and if you got new lenses from Brothers,,,,,they do look really nice,,,,,,,,

Just so happens I do have new front parking lights. Most people wouldn't know its a upgrade, They just tell you they don't work when you turn on your headlights

Same thing with my '66 Vista Cruiser, headlights came on/parking lites turned off. Could be the alternators were low output any little bit of energy savings helped.

Dodge was the same way until 1970 when sidemarkers were added...then the parking lights would come on with the headlights.

Anyone ever done the wiring swap on a Dodge??

I would say in 1968, the law said you needed reflectors on all side corners of your vehicle,,,,then it became they needed to come on with the headlights , then blink with the turn signals,,,,,

Just want to say thanks for this Don. I did the 65 and the 67 today. I guess in 68 the factory did it because my 68's already burn with the headlights.

That's just one thing to upgrade. As the years go by, new technology is developed. So a 1970 van has more advanced equipment than a 1964. And they also come up with new safety equipment and laws. Thats how they got from parking lights, to reflectors to marker lights that light up. But the best one is to get rid of that single line master cylinder and convert it over to the 2 line system

Are there any problems with the turn signals as a result of this process? My brother owns a 66 malibu and he had the same thing, no pking lights, He did somthing to have them both on but it interfered with his turn sig Im not sure if he did it the same way though, Im going to try this so I dont have to wait 35 years thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great idea. Also, I have some aftermarket lights (yet to install) that have a lower wattage daytime running lamp bulb separate from the main high/low headlamps. Figure any light I can get in front and behind me will decrease collisions. Thanks!

Donivan, a question to further this topic. What would be an easy addition to add a warning sound for leaving your lights on? I like running the lights in the daytime and keep forgetting to cut them off.

This works for Dodge, too? Anyone have a color diagram or some type of picture for that. Even with that mine might still be complicated, it looks like ray charles rewired my van. LOL
