    67 a100 pickup project

    Post by 67a 100 pickup on Sat Feb 14, 2009 11:50 am

Both seats have these "wonderful" seat covers on them, hopefully the originals underneath are not shot. I torn one spot just to look and it looks pretty good, kepping my fingers crossed

As you can see the old girl has some rust I have to deal with. Probably from my drip rail, guess I'll find out when I sand blast it

old tailgate that someone smoothed out, missing one latch if anyone needs it let me know, the DODGE stamp still shows on the inside and the top rail is also an add on so don't know what is under it. That's why I got a new one instead of dealing with this one. But if your is missing it's a place to start.

    new (used) tailgate from texas

well...... here is the project truck. Hope the pic worked, fix truck no problem Cool use puter' Shocked sometimes I win most of the time it wins.

YESSSSS! 1 for me cheers it worked!!!

R ring has a small dent, but it came with a spare, 225 w/ 727 auto bad news is I broke the spacer pulling the engine so I am looking for one before I take the plunge and drop a V8 in it.

    Nice project.

    RE: The chrome grille..
I far as I know this was never an option. In all the dealer brochures I have, a chrome grille is never mentioned. Even the pics of the Custom Sportsmans, which were top of the line don't show a chrome grille. Probably chromed by a previous owner.

Brian Bowie may have a spare spacer/adapter but I'm not sure if he'll part with it. Do you have his number?

Nice truck, last year at Bakers there were plenty of mopars. Good score on the extra tailgate, those have got to be hard to find. I have lots of license plates if you need one, I will be in Ann Arbor in April for the bike meet the 26th. I have a 1970 A-100 pickup that I need to finish. Dan
