Can you remove the dog house with no issues. I am worried that with out it. The floor may flex or warp. I would like to remove mine so I can get it sand blasted and painted. It looks like I can just un bolt it correct?
    Thanks

Thanks. I figure as much as I like driving this. It will be worth parking it for a month or so to get her all cleaned up. I was worried about this the most. I will get it pulled out as soon as the weather clears up

Crawl underneath and give all of the exposed threads on the bolts coming thru from the top a squirt of WD40 or something to help them out. If you don't you will most likely spin some of the clip on bolts and end up with a mess.

It helps to have a friend underneath with vice grips.

Just in case, those clips are still available and might be worth replacing a couple. Any good, local hardware store with a good fastener inventory should have them. Not the giants (HD, Lowes). The tabs on them will bend under a lot of pressure from trying to loosen them.

Also available online. 5/16-18 captive nut

Thanks. I was going to see if I could use new bolts and what ever else was needed when I put it back together. I will post a before and after picture of the dog house. It has a lot of heavy surface rust on it from the roof vent leaking on it.
This never sends me notices of new post even with the box checked. Am I the only one with this problem?

Thats a real good solution, do you have any pictures of them installed? I was looking for something similar when I was working on mine but the only thing I could come up with was hood/fender quick pins.
