    Sad  = Here =Spokane , Wa. this am its 15F. I am NOT worried about the Heater in my van NOT WORKING!! Im Staying Inside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!affraid cheers  lol!  Local Ski resorts are open today!!

    I hate it for you guys, winter is vanning weather down here. What kills me is when its 90+ and I have to leave the van at home because of the heat.

    Not that cold here yet, but not going to let that stop me this year. Going to run the heater and get something done this winter

    -24*C here.

    Up where I got some guys working in N Alberta, they told me its -40*C, and no windchill added to that yet....I'm about ready to pull the pin on this province and move somewheres much warmer!!!

    I don't know how you guys do it, especially places like Alaska where its not only bruttaly cold but no sun for months....I would go insane....here in New England is bad enough with the winters...I'm at the age where a warmer clime is starting to look real inviting...

    I used to tell my iron workers that there is heat in them tools if they were complaining about being cold on a job. Didn't make many friends that way.

    @ 2:35 today it was 73 @ 3:23 it was 49. 31 and freezing rain tonight heater on in garage, i'm vanning tomorrow. construction in oklahoma will be on hold. I'm ready for spring!

    Yup I here ya wirepuller...I'm getting to old for this sh!t. -30 C tonight windchill makes it -38 C. The snow I can handle, it's the cold that's taking it's toll on these old bones.

    I'm pretty sure -40 C and -40 F are the same.. which means you guys are nutz! It's been that cold here ONCE. Turns -50 anti-freeze to slush !

    My van spent most of the summer in the garage also because of 95 degrees plus temps.!!!!.affraid

    Chester =WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very correct!!cheers    lol!  When i was age 40 - i decided to move from central texas- way too hot there. Love it here as there are 4 seperate seasons & as im getting older =cant do much all day anyways!  So- I enjoy the new squeeze & the care she gives with the great asian foods =never any drive thru & quickie meals from her=makes all from scratch=always fresh & hot!!She actually wants to help me with the van & car work in spring & has already started same when we can outside. SAfter -all - when we get older -we're susposed to enjoy ourselves !! HeHe - Im surely doing that!!Razz


    Its 15F again thia AM & highs here wont see 40F till sunday+ High today is going to be =31F

    Joe, My van is never put away ! We came from upstate N.Y. and had winters and summers to both extremes of temps. LAST job was in Malone N.Y. almost on the Canadian border and started on Dec. 10th. Will only go back in summer for weddings, funerals and van events. No one believes us when we tell them it gets hotter there in summer than here as we always have a cool breeze off the gulf.

    Chester my 3rd Gen Chevy Van spent many winters in the garage also we had a summer home in Cape Vincent NY right on the St Lawerence River Beautifull country but some VERY COLD winters the ST Lawerence is a main shipping chanell and I remeber as a kid it would freeze solid 3-4 ft thick in spots.!!!!....

    Not letting this stop me this year, I will say it's a hassle clear out the garage move the van heat the garage for a 1/2 hour

                   WE have the same heater in our shop it will blast the heat out for sure..... This cold front is no joke they calling for a freeze warnings tonight and tomorrow in Marion County low 30 degrees I will cover my well and plants today.!!!!!!!!!...I am lucky I got the heater core installed just in time in my Early.Very Happy ...IS that a Early Chevy model on the window sill.???
