V8 rad size & engine mounts?

Hi guys, recently scooped up my '69 A100 Scooby panel van & am doing a 340 swap from the leaning tower of anti-power & 727!

Can anyone tell me the V8 measurements of the radiator? Or is it the same size? I'm thinking of getting a custom aluminum one made.

Also, if anyone possibly has a set of V8 frame brackets (or templates to make some)- that would be swell   In the meantime, I'm looking into Schumacher A-body /6 to V8 mounts.

There are pics of the engine mounts on here somewhere, I don't have them handey right now. As for the radiator, measure your existing opening and mount holes. They should be able to come up with something that works.

I found (5) A100/ 108's in a nearby boneyard. Headed up there today for a looky. One is a window 108 van w/ 318/727. I might see what he wants for the whole deal and drag it home so all of us can chew off it  !!
Anyone need some parts??? I do know there are no seats/ brackets, headlight rings.

What year? I need front doors, if they are in good condition and at least late 1968-70. I also could do with the side & rear barn door locking mechanisms.

I have the engine brackets if you still need measuremants, a lot of people just cut gown the drivers side. But i don't know if the engine / motor mount location changed ??? or are they the same as a 318 ???

DIX- would you sell me the 318 brackets?

I'm pulling the /6 this weekend and I'll see if the conversion mounts fit up to the / brackets first.

Nice info on the FSR radiator too! I also talked to Northern Radiator out of MN. Speedway Motors sells this unit for $249. It should fit nicely for the V8- 318 as well #917-5159 (measures 19-3/4 x 27" tall)

the Speedway radiator & shroud are IN and fits beautifully! Just had to trim the opening on the rad support a tad for the upper hose to come through.

Great deal for $249; shroud $60.

So did you get it? I assume the 727 is a short tail shaft? Any interest in pulling & seeling just the tailshaft section?

So did you get it?  I assume the 727 is a short tail shaft?  Any interest in pulling & seeling just the tailshaft section?

I will be going back to the boneyard as weather permits (above 25-30)- which might be a while  
the one 318 window van had the engine/trans sitting nicely on the floor as someone already robbed the mounts, etc. Nice dash cluster, armrests, auto shifter though. I will list parts for sale in A section here as I get them. Not looking for much, just helping out us Dodge guys.  

I sold my /6 and trans, but he's switching the tailshaft for a car install, so I could see if he'll sell it to you. It should be the same tail on both /6 & 318 A100.   ~Ben

Sounds good. Give him my info. I got a long tail shaft 727 with a 383 I picked up. Not 100% sure I wanna go auto...but would be nice to have the short tail if I do. :-)

Just remember you need the output shaft (gotta pull the whole guts out) AND the outer housing...
