    Chris I was looking into one simular it was on a v.w. then found out thr radio end was dirrerent and would not plug in to our radios . But i never looked any further . instead i used one that stayed inside the cab up in the overhead console,

    I'm aways from the radio at this point, I'll look around the junk yard for one and check the connection end. Thinking something from a GM suburbin might work

    Keep putting as cover on it in mind also. Things sticking up on the roof are a pita.

    Also, no matter where you put it you will be able to see it. I wouldn't want to see one of those on a classic.

    I personally like the hidden antennas that you can hide pretty easily. A big advantage is you dont have to cut a hole in your body!

    Isn't that a sat antenna? for the gps and satellite radio and the phone?
    I have that on my car , and I have the AM/FM antenna built into the glass.

    Antennas are designed to receive certain frequencies. Make sure it is designed for AM and FM or whatever you are connecting it to.

    Chris if you do find one wire it up and try it behind the grill, then you have the best of both if the reception works good enough
