I think I remember that van from VANagain's posts when he first got it. I remember an identical one that was completely restored and parked near a park or the beach or something. That is my favorite deluxe! I love the exterior and interior color combo!

Fudge dude! I was there last year right about this time...COLD ain't the word! It hurt to breath. I've never experienced weather in the teens and single digits at night. I was mighty toasty, even sweaty at times, in some crazy Cabela's hunting gear! I'm glad that van survived. As of now, you took the lead from Sandyvan...in my humble opinion. Any pics of it out of those ruts?

I'd love to have one just like that to tow my van to the track(s). I like the idea of a 1st Gen towing another 1st Gen around, especially since my van started out with the same color/patina combo as yours. I guess my van's patina is a tad more severe than yours...

This one needs a ton of work, the floor is super rusty as the rear doors were left open and the front windshield is broken out, but the body is in pretty good shape considering it sat like that for over 15 years. There is no motor in it either, but it was a factory automatic and has the auto column in it and it had a powerglide and turbo 350 with van hangers on them in the back. I feel super lucky to have found one this close to my house, plus I got it for $350.00!
