    COLD air induction? Dscn0310

    COLD air induction? Dscn0311

    COLD air induction? Dscn0312

I originally had this made with that corrugated dryer vent tube

    COLD air induction? Dscn0110

The dryer vent tube corrugations caused air restriction and the engine literally ran out of air and couldn't go past 4700rpm loss of hp and torque

The strait smooth aluminum tubing allowed air flow to 5800 rpm as proven on the dyno

You can see on the recorded results, a 1200 rpm gain, a 12.5 hp gain and  4.8 ft/lbs torque gain but more importantly the HP peak moved into a higher rpm rang and the torque curve became stronger at lower  rpm with a broader curve spread out over a wide rpm range.

the most important improvement is now the torque peak is now at the bottom of the rpm curve which now enabled this to happen.

All in all, forget going cheep, you will only pay with increased gas mileage and less power with dryer duct.
Your don't need silicone rubber, that's for turbo and high heat, the black rubber is all you need.  here is the best deal.
