Bought a 1972 Xplorer Ford E300 camper van sight unseen. I'm in Arkansas it's in Bedford Pennslyvania, flying to Pittsburg Oct. 3 where previous owner will pick us up at the airport. Leaving Bedford headed to Washington DC Friday morning
for 3 or maybe 4 days (come on goobs don't close the Smithsonian!). Then south on I-95 to southern Georgia for a couple of days. Then to Atlanta for the aquarium and a night there. Memphis is next for a night with in laws. Next day back to Little Rock.
I'm 57 wife is something "kinda" close to that but afraid to put it in print. Hoping there might be at least a handful of folks close to that route that would send me contact info in case I may need help along the way. Hoping not, I did mail a pretty good assortment of tools ahead of time and I've spent most of my life tinkering in some form or another, no more ground up restorations but still need to have something as a toy/challenge.

Send me an email if you might help out a weary traveler who won't call unless penned in a corner.

Hey Mike, I'm right up the road from you in Searcy! I'd like to check out your Explorer when you get her home. We have a 73 E200 pop-top camper van in the works here. You might even want to bring your Explorer to Petit Jean for Labor Day 2014, MidSouth Econlines host a van show there every year. Love to have you there.

Hi Mike, I'm on I 40 between Memphis and Nashville. I'll send my number in case. Come see us on the mountian next year. We're there every Laborday weekend.
