Look what was being used as a shim in my 1965's Econo's door..pretty cool. A 1964 "Silver" quarter as shinny and new as it was when circulated) https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10200551587776176&set=o.142161887799&type=1&ref=nf

Way Cool.!!!! keep it in the van for a good luck charm. . I once found a 1968 nickel in my 67 Chevy Impala when I replaced the carpet and when I Installed the new carpet I put it back where I found for good luck!!! kept the car for 11 years with no major problems and it never let me down!!!

Re: Look what I found??
If someone ever steals the van(and I don't wish that upon anyone), and the cops say how can you prove it's really yours, just say look at the 64 Silver Quarter shimming the door!
By the way, Nice looking 8-Door!

Re: Look what I found??
Haha...good idea...Hope it never gets stolen, I love my Econo's.....Been driving them for 28 years now...nothing like em! My 8 door is very original and un-molested and was so well taken care of by it's original owner, garage kept. Sure wish he didnt paint Navy blue over the original two tone paint((( You can see it in the jams, and lucky me...the gut was un touched!!!
